The arrival of spring brings the sun, the warm weather, the birds and the grass and what better way to celebrate all of this then a night of beautiful music right on Bartlett at WEP Central! We’re overjoyed to present a rare evening with the great Greg Macpherson.

Canadian singer/songwriter Greg MacPherson has been making records and touring since 1996. Independent throughout the ’90s, MacPherson joined the fiercely political Winnipeg imprint G7 Welcoming Committee Records in 2001, releasing three critically acclaimed albums, touring with many of the label's cornerstone bands and making a name for himself as a performer and songwriter, shoehorned into a hardcore world. MacPherson’s music is impossible to file under a single genre; his massive, unrelenting voice and unpredictable, magnetic performance style has allowed him to consistently produce innovative, boundary-pushing rock music and reach new ears in a wide variety of places, from punk rock basement shows to folk festivals to indie rock night clubs. Three of MacPherson's recordings have been long listed for the Polaris prize.
