Emily Nussbaum is a staff writer at The New Yorker. She's the author of the critical anthology "I Like To Watch: Arguing My Way Through the TV Revolution" and her new non-fiction cultural history, "Cue The Sun!: The Invention of Reality TV." In 2016, she won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her Canadian husband Clive Thompson and their two quasi-Canadian children.

Stacy Lee Kong is the editor-in-chief of 3 magazines, a new quarterly publication that celebrates third culture individuals and newcomers to Canada, and the founder of Friday Things, a weekly newsletter about the political side of pop culture. You can also find her dropping hot takes on TV, radio, podcasts and occasionally in person (a sample: the Backstreet Boys were better than *NSync, there is too much TV for anyone to reasonably watch and sorry not sorry, but cancel culture isn’t real).
